Membership helps to assist organisations with moving the dial on this agenda. The sessions can be implemented with assistance from the Maturity Matrix and provides general guidance around best practice, including the latest thinking on progressing the ethnicity agenda. It is both a time and cost-efficient way to gain momentum on this agenda within your organisation. 

Aimed at organisations looking to improve in this space including: organisations starting their journey that need further guidance; organisations that need help identifying and filling the gaps to keep up the momentum; and those looking to implement latest thinking and innovation on this and the wider inclusion agenda.

We have the input of over 200 organisations behind us. Our expertise in this space can help you deliver better results by supporting your organisation on its journey. 
The entire programme offers a great way to embed change and if your organisation is using recommendations in the Matrix, membership will help deliver the actions and create change.

  • Senior leaders & allies breakfasts These structured sessions run throughout the year. Each provides a topic area to discuss and develop with expert guidance from a trained facilitator. Topics include: ‘Introduction: What’s expected of an executive sponsor’, ‘How To Create Impact In Your Organisation’ and ‘Being A Powerful Spokesperson’.
  • Action Groups The structured roundtable sessions have been highly successful, giving organisations access to idea-sharing, best practice successes and networking. We will be carrying out further sessions throughout the coming year. These small-group sessions are a good opportunity for those focusing on specific needs and outcomes for their organisation.
  • Workshop sessions  Workshop sessions include: ‘How To Be More BAME Inclusive’; ‘Being More Visible Within Your Organisation (aimed at BAME employees)’, and ‘Running A Successful Employee Resource Group’. 
  • *NEW* Future Leaders Track The lack of ethnic-minorities in leadership is a well documented problem, across every industry. The opportunity to accelerate talent and strengthen pipeline, through workshops and lunch & learn sessions. Network with peers from other organisations.
  • Feedback consultation As part of your membership fee we offer a full consultation meeting will follow, giving you further support and guidance on the next steps for your organisation’s journey. The consultation can align to the Matrix's next steps if completed.
  • Additional support If you are having difficulties completing a particular part of the Maturity Matrix, our team of experienced experts offer full support and guidance through our telephone service. 
  • Use of Investing in Ethnicity & Race badge Communicate that your organisation is investing in this agenda by using our badge on company's promotions, websites and communications.
  • Members-only digital area of resources There will be a developed membership area were your organisation will be able to get access to FAQ, How to guides, case studies, profiled interviews and key report summaries.
  • Quarterly bulletins This will include information on relevant events, latest information and best practice guides. 

Further consultancy, separate sessions around ethnicity inclusion and focusing on high potential and ethnically diverse talent are offered at discounted rates.

Discount at the Awards Ceremony: Recognising employers and those making a difference
At Race & Ethnicity we will be celebrating the success stories, including at our prestigious awards ceremony. This platform will give you the opportunity to be get the recognition you deserve with our media partner the Guardian and other national press. We will also share this on our social media platforms and through our communications. 
Discounts are offered to members entering the Investing in Ethnicity & Race conference and awards.

Basic membership: £2,900 
At SPM Group we are committed to giving return on investment and pushing this agenda forward, therefore rates have been subsidised and fixed for founding membership to help companies push this agenda forward without being prohibited by budgets restraints.
