The awards 2020 have been revamped and updated this year to better highlight the stories of role models and their experiences. The awards will include a greater emphasis on story-telling and showcasing the experiences on those who have done exceptional work in the ethnicity space.
Deadline for nominations are now open. Business Categories close on 6th July 2020.
Front Line hero nominations close on 31st July 2020.
Maturity Matrix submissions which determine the Outstanding Employer category close on 31st July 2020.
Public nominations also close on 31st July 2020.
This year we will be announcing the Top 10s (which feed into the overall winner) as a list of Top 100+ list, including 100 individuals from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds and further categories. The announcement will be made at the start of Black History Month on 1st October.
Bank of England chief, Mark Carney, to open the second Investing in Ethnicity Conference. The Governor of the financial institution wanted to show his commitment to this agenda, and will talk about areas which the BoE have been working on in the past year.
This year's conference engages all areas of the organisation, and will include recommended tracks for the following:
